In a Bollywood makeover to pooja ritutals, actress Kangana Ranaut unveiled a 20-feet poster of her upcoming film “The Queen of Jhansi” before stepping into holy waters to seek blessings for film’s theatre prospects.
Clad in a golden zari saree themed with orange brocade blouse and traditional jewellery, the young actress took a dip in Ganges at Dasashwamed Ghat chanting “Har Har Mahadev”.
Directed by Krissh, the movie stars Kangana in the role of warrior queen Rani Laxmibai. The film is titled “Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi: and is expected to hit theatres in April of 2018.
Two months back Deepika Padukone along with her mother and relatives took part in Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh for wellbeing.
