London Bridge Attack : Islamic State claim responsibility

Pro-Islamic State social media users claimed the London attacks were revenge for the RAD’s “love from Manchester “ air strike.

London Bridge remained closed as investigators combed the place for evidence

The Islamic State of Iraq claimed responsibility for London attacks in a statement released by their news agency.

In a statement posted on Amaq’s media page on Sunday, they said “A detachment of Islamic State fighters executed yesterday’s London attack”

On Saturday night attackers brought carnage to the streets of London, stabbing passersby with 12-inch knives and before plowing  a van into pedestrians on London bridge and shouting “this is for Allah”. The atrocity left seven people dead , 21 injured and 42 fighting for their lives.

The three terrorists who rode the van were shot by police in an unprecedented 50 rounds as they were suspected of carrying explosives, which later proved to be hoax. A member of public too was  injured in hail of bullets, police revealed.

Armed police have made twelve arrests in connection with the terror attack after a raid in Barking , east London.

London Bridge attack is the third terrorist outrage to hit Britain this year following Westminster and Manchester attacks.
