Kerala BJP caught up in Medical Colleges scam

The alleged underhand deals to render medical college status surfaced after infighting between factions brought loud blames of the scam

Allegations of BJP leaders in Kerala accepting money to facilitate medical college status, is doing rounds bringing memories of Vajapyee regime, when Kerala unit was mired in accusation of accepting crores of rupees then in petrol pump allocation in the State.

Party leaders are said to have collected huge sums for allotting medical college status to private hospitals, the deals surfacing after infighting between factions resulted in some members voicing them.

Party President Amit Shah at centre has instructed an in-depth probe into the scandal.
A panel headed by KP Sreesan and AK Naseer have finished inquiries and submitted the report which is said to contain names of four l known leaders and a few others.
